Translated from Spanish borracho beans (Frijoles Borracho) means "drunken beans". The name comes from the beans being cooked in beer. It gives the dish a nice depth and a hint of hops. In this hot sauce Chipotle peppers have been added to provide a robust, smoky background to the beans. Pair with your favourite Mexican and Southwestern dishes of course but it also makes a great breakfast sauce!
