Hailing from the Arabian peninsula, zhoug is a condiment with many regional varieties but is classically made with peppers, garlic and cumin pounded with a mortar & pestle into a thick paste. This hot sauce echoes the bold flavours in a smoother, easily poured form. Fresh & fragrant it pairs well with lamb, chicken, rice and seafood.
